In Bengali weddings, Shree (or Sree) refers to an auspicious, pyramidal mound made by married women from rice flour dough, turmeric, and sindoor, symbolizing Goddess Lakshmi (wealth/prosperity) and blessing the couple for a happy, prosperous life, often made a day or two before the wedding as a key ritual. It’s a colorful, decorated structure placed on a  plate.
